    is president of i3 advantage, a consultancy based in Canada that advises companies on sustainable procurement and supply chain excellence, M&A supply-side benefits, business process outsourcing strategy and ethics. Her previous roles include CPO of Rogers Communications and vice-president of procurement at EDS. Patricia has over 20 years’ experience in the profession.


     

     

    John Blascovich Future trends

    is a vice-president at AT Kearney, based in New York. Over the past 12 years he has led large-scale sourcing transformation projects for clients, as well as directing the firm’s global best practice Assessment of Excellence in Procurement research series and taking a lead role in the Futures Study initiative with CAPS Research and the Institute for Supply Management, on whose board of directors he currently sits.

     


    Richard Lamming Future trends

    is CIPS foundation professor of purchasing and supply and director of the School of Management at the University of Southampton in the UK. Before taking up this position in January 2004, he spent 13 years at the University of Bath, where he founded the Centre for Research into Strategic Purchasing and Supply. Richard is perhaps best known for his work on lean production and lean supply.



     

    Nick Ward Supplier relationship management

    is president and CEO of Supply Market Intelligence and Integration (formerly Baios), a Westerly, Rhode Island-based consultancy firm. Previously he was a general manager at Siebel Systems and CEO of MOHR Development, where he worked with companies such as Frito Lay, Johnson & Johnson, Wells Fargo and HP. Nick is also a board director of the Strategic Account Management Association.



    Roy Anderson Interview

    is vice-president, procurement, at MetLife in New York, where he is responsible for $2.3 billion in annual spend and a team of 92 people. Prior to joining the life insurer in August 2001, he was a director of purchasing at John Hancock Financial Services and Fidelity Investments, and before that a purchasing manager at Textron Corp and Raytheon. Roy holds an MBA from Babson College in Massachusetts.



    Vinod Singhal Supply risk management

    is professor of operations management at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and associate director of the Center for Paper Business and Industry Studies, a body funded by the Sloan Foundation. His research focuses on the impact of operations and accounting on stock price performance and he is a frequent presenter at industry and academic conferences.
